Men's Ministry
Calvary Chapel Sonora's Men's Ministry is not just a program; it is a calling. It is a place where men gather to grow in Christ, to be led by other men, and to serve both the church, our community, and the world. It is a fellowship of accountability, a classroom of discipleship, an outreach to the community, and a mission field for God's Kindgom.
As Proverbs 27:17 says, "As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another." In Men's Ministry, that sharpening happens daily. The ministry is about more than personal growth - it is about equipping men to lead their families in faith, to be godly examples in their communities and to be bold witnesses for Christ.

Women's Ministry
The Women's Ministry exists to cultivate a community of faith-filled women who remain rooted in Christ, as relflected in our theme verse, John 15:5: "Yes, I am the vine, you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing."
Our vision is to foster active discipleship, encourage women to live out biblical principles while supporting, mentoring and walking alongside one another. Through events such as our women's breakfast, retreats and annual Christmas Dinner, we create opportunities for fellowship, spiritual encouragement, and growth in the Word.

Young Adult Ministry
Calvary Chapel Sonora's Young Adult group, geared for ages 18-29, offers opportunity for fellowship and to make connections, to worship and pray, and to learn more about God and who He has called us to be. We desire to encourage young adults to be set apart from the world and to live a life fully surrendered to Jesus and the plans He has for us.
The groups' guiding scripture: "I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the merices of God, to present your bodies as living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to their world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect" Romans 12:1-2.
The group meets on the first and third Tuesday of each month from 6:00-8:00 pm in the Fireside Room, and strives to plan a fun outing once a month.
